We have been involved with a number of projects at the Jai Hind Camp in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi.
When the fire broke out at the slum we were able to get involved with the relief work. Clothes, food and other items were collected and these could be distributed to the affected people. These people had lost everything and had to start rebuilding their homes. You can read about the fire here. Later we were able to raise some funds for the purchase of pressure cookers and these were distributed to the affected families. We were able to distribute more than 500 cookers.
